White pre-Christmas

After arriving in Serres last night I made a bet with my cousin that it would snow tonight. Sure enough, around midnight my aunt yelled up to the left and told me I won the bet. I walked outside and checked it out. For the first time I was seeing it snow in Greece – and not just a little light flurry! This morning I got up and walked outside to take some pictures. For me it was quite novelty, but for a lot of people here they hate it because it is a sign that it might be a longer winter of getting snowed in. Here are some pictures I took.
