Construction

There’s constant construction in Greece. I’ve narrowed it down to the following reasons:

>There is no city-wide planning
>It ensures that the jobs of the workers are preserved
>It makes it look like the government is doing something for the people
>The contracts are given to a relative of the city planner
>There is no coordination, so sometimes they dig the same place up and re-seal it in consecutive weeks
>Above all else… Nobody gives a shit

Well, I do. I’ve been sick and the constant sound of jackhammers has been driving me insane!

Maybe I should marry the city planners daughter and start a construction vehicle repair company? Now I am assimilating!
