It’s funny watching “Super Deal” (‘Deal or No Deal’), the game show, here in Greece. The differences in this rendition is an epitome of the culture: the host acts like he’s relatives with the contestant &the accompanying family members – often hugging all of them. The formula to success is pretty much the same thing as the USA: greed, suspense & hot chicks with briefcases.
When the contestant does something good: the audience, host, contestant and random hot girls (obviously on staff) break into a song & dance. This makes it a bit more festive and visually appealing than the version back in the states. Sometimes they clear the briefcase girls and bring out singers as well – like this.
